Land Rover take the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, to unveil the restyled version of its Discovery 4, which has among other things a reworked front and a new V6 petrol.
The stand of the British manufacturer will be well filled this year at the German Biennial. Besides some small changes on the Evoque and hybrid versions of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, the English brand benefits from Frankfurt to present the facelift done on the Discovery.
The restyled version of the British 4×4, proposes a new visual identity to the vehicle but also a new identity in the name. In fact, on the front, the manufacturer of the Channel removes the name Land Rover to leave the place at Discovery badge. Behind this trend, badge also evolves with the absence of the number 4 next to the surname of the model.
For the rest, the front has been retouched and receives a new grille, a new bumper, but also a new design of the headlamps. Land Rover also offers new LED daytime running lights with a distinctive signature. In addition to these changes, the British manufacturer offers two new types of rims for his model.
Regarding the range of engines, the V8 petrol is replaced by a new 3.0-liter V6 petrol. Developing a power of 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque and equipped with Start & Stop system, this engine allows the Discovery restyled to be less greedy and more environmentally friendly. The diesel offer is it to be represented by the 3.0 SDV6 developing 256 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
Discovery orders are already open restyled and deliveries will begin in mid-November.
