It’s at an event held in India, Nissan unveiled its new Terrano which is nothing more than rebadged Dacia Duster.
The Japanese manufacturer had given appointment on August 20 for the presentation of his new vehicle and it is not the leak of photos showing the model without camouflage have reduced the Japanese firm.
Indeed, it is at an event held in India, Nissan has formalized its new Terrano. And if his look tells you something, it is quite normal since this is a rebadgee version of Dacia Duster. If therefore takes the general form of the Romanian SUV, the Japanese automaker still brings his touch to make a car more “upscale” than the Duster.
We thus find a front that incorporates elements of style Nissan with the presence of chromium in the grille. The design of the headlamps has been reworked as the taillights. Another change from the Duster, the Terrano does not take plastic protectors, so we found a unique body color.
On board again Nissan shows the outline of the interior of the Duster but finishing Terrano is more upscale thanks to the presence among others of a new steering wheel, special inserts or with a new audio system and several additional storage space.
Also not surprisingly, the Nissan Terrano uses the same engine range as proposed for the Duster, namely the 1.6-liter petrol unit and two 105 horsepower diesel 1.5 dCi 85 and 110 horses.
For the record, the Nissan Terrano will be produced in the same factory in Oragadam Duster in India and will be sold from November at a higher price than the Romanian SUV. The Terrano will initially be available in India before landing on other emerging markets.
