In the wake of its facelift, the Porsche Panamera in Frankfurt gives a new development. This time only the Panamera Diesel is concerned, now with 300 hp in the program.

To build on this success, the Panamera Diesel evolve from early 2014. The main innovation concerns the original liter V6 Audi, which now boasts 300 hp (an increase of 50 hp), through the adoption of new mobile elements (rods, pistons and crankshaft). A new turbo made its appearance, now cooled. The maximum torque also increased from 550 Nm to 650 Nm at 1750 r / min.
The transmission is always assigned to the 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox, but the pass laws were optimized. Other changes concern the slightly larger anti-roll bars, as well as the torque splitter PTV +, now this series. This should benefit from a slight increase in strength.
In terms of numbers, there is at least significant progress, with a 0 to 100 km / h in 6 s shot against 6.8 s before. At the same time, the speed goes from 244 to 259 km / h. Consumption is the same path climbs slightly, announced with 6.4 l/100 km (0.1 l / 100 km over a combined cycle). Ditto for the Co2 emissions are 169 g / km, 3 g more.
